Mario Romain: Director of Security Protection Resources
Mario A. Romain is the Founder and President of On Point Resources, Inc., a firm specializing in Television/Audience Security, Threat Assessment and Security Consulting. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice from the prestigious John Jay College of Criminal Justice. He is a bonded, New York State licensed Private Investigator, with a license to carry firearms. Mr. Romain is a member of ALDONYS {Associated Licensed Detectives of New york State}, F.O.P. {Fraternal Order of Police}, and ASIS International {American Society for Industrial Security}. Mario A.Romain's career encompasses 30 years of law enforcement,military police,and personal security background. During which time he has received numerous letters of commendation. Following a tour of duty in the U.S. Army Mario Romain served over 10 years in the U.S. Army Reserves as a commissioned officer in the Military Police Corps, where he was in charge of a platoon of over 100 men and women. Mario A. Romain is a retired member of the New York State Police. During his tenure he served as a State Trooper, and attained the ranks of Investigator and Sergeant. Mr. Romain participated in major criminal investigations, and supervised a team of 15-18 police officers.

Over the last decade, Mario Romain has distinguished himself as a security specialist to the broadcasting and motion picture industries. He has functioned as the Security Coordinator for such television programs as The Rosie O'Donnell Show, The Queen Latifah Show, The Caroline Rhea Show, Last Call with Carson Daly, and the MARTHA show. In addition, he has supervised security for various special events, including the 2005 final episode of The Apprentice and the CBS-TV 75th Anniversary celebration broadcast. Mr. Romain has consistently demonstrated himself eminently capable of selecting and leading competent security teams responsible for protecting well-known celebrities, cast members, audiences, studio/set personnel, production facilities and equipment. He has also proven adept at formulating and implementing effective security measures, including contingency plans to deal with emergency situations or instances of terrorism.
